Off-the-shelf cages rarely suit either. Gert builds timber vivarium cabinets, aviaries and small-mammal enclosures to your measurements, with the ventilation, heating runs and access panels planned in from the start.

Live feeders, species-appropriate dry food, and the Akwa range for tanks, filtration and water chemistry. If we don't stock something, we'll point you to someone who does.
Live feeders
Crickets, mealworms and roaches, kept fed so they are still worth eating when they reach your animal.
Hay, pellets and mixes
Dry food for small mammals and birds, with portioning advice for the species you keep.
Supplements
Calcium, D3 and multivitamin dusting powders, with a dusting schedule you can keep to.
Heating & lighting
UVB tubes, ceramic emitters, thermostats and probes. We set them up and test them with you in store.
Akwa filtration and water
Filters, media, dechlorinators and test kits, plus advice when the water goes cloudy.
Substrates and décor
Aquascaping plants, branches, hides and substrates picked for the species you keep.

We would rather talk you out of it than sell you the wrong pet
Most exotics that struggle are in the wrong setup rather than the wrong hands. Tell us about your room, your budget and your week, and we'll match an animal to it honestly, including when the answer is "not yet".
Already have a pet that's struggling?
Send a photo of the enclosure on WhatsApp. Heat, humidity and lighting problems usually show up in one picture, and they are usually cheap to fix.

Please do. Plenty of people come in three or four times before they decide anything. There is no pressure to buy on the day, and we would rather you left with a plan than with an animal you were not ready for.
Can you hold an animal while I finish the enclosure?
Ask us and we will usually arrange something. We are also happy to look the setup over before the animal moves in.
What does a custom enclosure cost and how long does it take?
It depends on size, materials and the heating you need. Send your measurements and the species on WhatsApp and we will quote you.
Do you deliver?
Message us about supplies and enclosures around Klerksdorp. Livestock we prefer you collect, so we can hand over in person and go through the care details with you.
Are your reptiles and exotics legally sourced?
Yes. If a species needs a permit on your side, we will tell you before you buy rather than after.
My setup already has problems. Can you help?
Send a photo of the enclosure and its readings on WhatsApp. Heat, humidity and lighting issues usually show up straight away, and the fix is normally cheaper than people fear.

Feeding and cleaning happen first thing. If you want the animals active and us free to talk, mid-morning or late afternoon works best.
